What MinerXP needs
MinerXP needs only a public Monero address in the local controller settings. A public address is used to identify where pool payouts should go.
- Public wallet address: permitted in local MinerXP settings.
- Recovery phrase, seed words, private key, and wallet password: never enter these into MinerXP.
- If any site or person asks for those secrets, stop and verify independently.
Create and protect a wallet
Use a reputable wallet provider and follow its backup instructions. Store recovery information offline and privately. Never send it by email, chat, or a web form.
Control your computer
Choose a CPU level that suits your hardware. You can pause or stop mining locally, and a paired private dashboard can request those same actions while the computer is online.
No guaranteed earnings
A mining estimate is not a promise of a payout or profit. Network conditions, pool conditions, hardware, electricity, and cryptocurrency prices can change at any time.
