What the Mac setup does
The member download contains the MinerXP installer and local controller files. The installer checks the local requirements, prepares the controller, and opens the local dashboard in the browser.
- The controller remains on the Mac.
- The wallet setting stays local to that controller.
- The public dashboard is used only after the member intentionally pairs the computer.
Member setup flow
After payment, use the protected Downloads and setup guide pages. They explain each Finder step with visual examples, including where to add the public wallet address and how to choose a CPU level.
- Download the Mac member file.
- Open the MinerXP installer in Finder and follow its prompts.
- Open the local dashboard, save settings, and start only when ready.
Using MinerXP from a phone
After pairing, the private MinerXP web app can show the Mac controller status. It can send explicit control requests, but it cannot wake or control a Mac that is powered off, asleep, or offline.
Keep your Mac comfortable
Use a CPU level appropriate for your Mac, monitor temperature and responsiveness, and pause or stop if you need the device for other work.
